Happy Thanksgiving!
Another summer has flown by and again I wonder where it went. Last year I told you about a trip I took to Tennessee to track down members of my father's family. This summer I made a return journey to my father's birthplace and finally met an aunt and uncle, and a number of cousins. It was a wonderful experience. Getting together with several cousins, we went through old photo albums and I learned what it was like growing up in a small town in eastern Tennessee. I even saw a photo of the school my father attended. I learned that my family is very musical. In fact, my father's older brother played guitar with a band that performed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville back in the 1940s.
Although I don't play a musical instrument, the notion of a book revolving around country music and Nashville is beginning to evolve. It's on my brain's back burner simmering at the moment, but I already have a tentative title, The Last Song. We'll see how it develops. In the meantime, my romantic suspense novel RAINBOW'S END is available at The Wild Rose Press. To learn more about it go to my BOOKS page.
